UAE Got the Third Place as the World’s Strongest Brand

Recently a London-based consultancy, Brand Finance, conducted a survey and made a list of top 100 countries that are strongest in terms of international image (strength) and value.

Quite surprisingly, the final list shows that UAE got the honor of being the “third-strongest” nation brand, with Singapore and Switzerland being with first and second in the list accordingly. Also, the same report by Brand Finance ranks UAE in the 29th position in terms of most globally valued brand.

Brand Finance ranked the top 100 countries in the list taking into account many significant factors that help establish a country’s global impact. The factors that got UAE to the third place are the country’s image, smooth (trouble-free) business operations, excellent presence of law and order and the citizen’s quality of life that comes with it, as well as lack of corruption.

The government of the country accepted the rankings gleefully and also commented on how they are putting all of their efforts in ensuring UAE’s future success. After all, getting to the 3rd position is quite a feat for the Emirates since last year it was ranked at 21st position in the global ranking.

Now, the UAE enjoys the total brand value of US$400 billion and all that credit goes to its widely popular tourism, higher number of finely-experienced and skilled expatriates, and most important of all, the country’s tax system that is most favorable to local and international investors.

The ranking also lists Qatar at 9th position which is although quite great keeping in mind its high-investment appeal but not par with UAE due to weak tourism sector. However, the country does seem to have the potential to rank up the list in the coming years near the arrival of FIFA 2022.
